The DonJoy Shoulder Stabilizer Shoulder Pad Attachment (SPA) Brace is designed for individuals participating in contact sports while wearing shoulder pads and experiencing glenohumeral ligament (GHL) instabilities. This brace effectively restricts abduction and external rotation, providing relief for symptoms or episodes of anterior and/or GHL instability. It also helps with posterior instability by limiting the shoulder's Range of Motion (ROM) and preventing joint positions that can lead to posterior dislocation or subluxation. The ROM control is customizable through easy strap adjustments. The arm cuff and straps securely attach to the breast plate of the shoulder pads, eliminating the need for a chest vest and ensuring comfort, even in hot weather.
